Sofa legs, as the "nerve endings" connecting furniture and users, are undergoing a transformation from "functional components" to "intelligent terminals".

The EU Carbon Border Adjustment Mechanism (CBAM) will be fully implemented in 2026, with the furniture industry included in the first batch of control measures. According to calculations, the carbon emission intensity of traditional steel sofa legs can reach 8.2kg CO ₂/kg due to electroplating process, while the carbon emission intensity of recycled aluminum process can be reduced to 2.3kg CO ₂/kg.

In this context, as a key component of the furniture industry, sofa legs have become the key to breaking through the technological upgrade path and supply chain layout strategy.
